[Crane's steps are long and drawn out as he slowly makes his way through Game Central Station. He glances around, his eyes taking in all the sites and people around him.

While his game had been plugged in for a while, Crane didn't often venture too far from it. He wasn't one much for crowds, and after the arcade closes he preferred spending the evening quietly resting.

But while he loved the adventure/tournament-fighting game that was his home, there were times when he needed just a little getaway to take a break from it.

So if you happen to see Crane wandering around, maybe drop by to say hello. He wouldn't mind a bit of conversation.]

[Well Crane isn't the only one who doesn't generally venture too far from his game. Hiccup happens to be one of them, and today is one of the rare days he's decided to leave.

..Everyone keeps recommending Tapper's as being a good place to go to unwind. ..It sounds tempting enough- so that's where he's headed. He's not really looking where he's going, unfortunately-

..and all of a sudden he runs slam into Crane with a low grunt, staggering backwards and nearly slipping as his prosthetic struggles to get purchase on the slick floor.]

Oof!

[Crane stumbles back a little, but quickly finds his balance again thanks to his long legs before reaching out to Hiccup to help steady him.]

Sorry...are you all right?

I-..I'm ok! I'm ok-

[He opens his own mouth to apologize, but falters when he feels wings grabbing at his shoulders. He glances around quickly before looking up, presented with a long beak instead of a normal face.

After being in this arcade for so long, he's learned to become accustomed to a plethora of different characters- talking animals included. Quickly, he straightens back up, wishing he could just- ...tie some leather around the end of his prosthetic or something. But then, the gamers would wonder where the heck that came from.]

Sorry I- ...I wasn't looking where I was going.

That's all right. I wasn't paying much attention myself.

[Sort of bad to do for a character programmed as a Kung Fu master...

He studies the kid in front of him; he's fairly sure he's seen him around GCS before during the few times he's visited, but he's never interacted with him before. But Crane still gets the feeling that he's not too used to coming out here either.]

My name's Master Crane...although Crane is just fine too.

...Nice to meet you, Crane. I'm Hiccup.

[Master Crane, huh?...he thinks back, and remembers seeing a fighting game that featured anthropomorphic animals as the characters- so that must be the one he hails from.]

So uuh...what brings you to the station today?

[kawkaw]

[He manages a little grin.] Just wanted something new, I guess...take a little break. As much as I like my friends in our game, it'd be nice to interact with people who didn't try beating me up today.

[As a newcomer, Tooth still wasn't used to the vast diversity of characters that prowled GCS on any given night.

Crane will have to excuse for staring at him in a mix of curiosity of wonder. Though her curiosity gets the better of her and so she zips up to his side.]

Excuse me! [What to address him as? Bird was so vague and would probably sound rude... Hopefully he heard her and she wouldn't have to worry about it!]

[kawkaw]

[Ah, yes he heard her, as his long neck turns towards her. The rest of his body follows soon afterwards.]

Are...you mean me?

Yes! [Wow, he's so interesting! She loves his design, especially.]

I just wanted to ask you what you were from. [Because, from what she could tell, he was just a regular crane. A lot larger, obviously, but... what kind of game had a crane as a character?]

[kawkaw]

[He blinks, a little taken by her design as well pretty character is pretty...

Then realizing that she had asked him something, he clears his throat and tries to focus.]

Ah...I'm from the Kung Fu Panda video game. It's an action and tournament-style fighting game based on the movie.

[Duly noted. He even manages a weak grin, leaning back on the heel of his existing foot.]

Makes sense, yeah. ...Kinda the same thing I'm doing just- .....I just don't do it often.

[He still doesn't know if it's just because he's apprehensive....or what.]

[Crane nods in understanding, bringing himself down a little so he's not completely towering over this kid. He doesn't want to seem menacing or anything.]

Yeah, I don't leave my game much either. Just every once in a while for a change of pace, you know?

Yeah!

[Yeah this is the biggest bird he's EEEEVER seen.]

And GCS is...definitely a big change.

[kawkaw]

Yeeeeeah...[Crane glances around the busy station.] It's definitely different.

[She's all smiles and sparkles, really.]

You're from the same genre as me! Well, the action anyway.

I'm guessing you know Kung Fu, then?

[kawkaw]

Uh, well yeah...I'm programmed after a character that's supposed to be master...

[He clears his throat again, trying to change the subject because he doesn't want to sound like he's bragging...]

S-so, you're from an action game, huh?

[trainsurdragons]

...Yeeep. ....very....different.

[Oh no awkward silence. ..he had a feeling this would happen, just not NOW.]

[kawkaw]

[Yuuuuuup...awkward.]

So, uh...where are you heading?

[trainsurdragons]

Oh uh- ...nowhere in particular! Just you know...exploring, scoping out the other games and...stuff.

[kawkaw]

[Crane smiles and nods.] Ah, I see. One of those days to just take a look around?

[trainsurdragons]

One of them. ...More like the only day...actually...

[Sorta.]

I just don't leave my game much so...all this is pretty new for me.

[kawkaw]

Heh, yeah...it can be pretty overwhelming if you're not used to it.

[Not that Crane has much room to talk; he's not really used to it either.]

Well...maybe looking around might be less intimidating with some company?

[He's asking just as much as he's offering.]

You'll have to show me sometime! [Bunny knew Tai Chi but otherwise she wasn't familiar with any martial arts.] Oh, of course, only if you want to. I wouldn't want to impose.

Hm? Oh, yes! I'm from Rise of the Guardians, the new action-adventure game across the way!

[kawkaw]

It wouldn't be any trouble. I'd be happy to show you...

Oh, that's the new game that came in recently, right?

[Hiccup smiles a little, nodding at Crane before running his fingers through his hair.]

Maybe. I wouldn't mind a little...company myself, to be honest.

[Besides, GCS is pretty big.]
