[Of course there's a Megaman Power Fighters console in the arcade. Forte rather thinks that whoever owns the place would have to be a moron NOT to have his game there. But still, it's only been plugged in a day, and already he's sick of this place.

EVERYONE keeps mistaking him for a villain.

Honestly, he doesn't give a crap about good guys or bad guys, only that he gets to beat someone up at the end of the day. And he does. Because he's playable. And gets to beat up the ACTUAL villain. All the time. But most other characters seem to take one look at black armor and an attitude and immediately assume things, and while it was pretty fun to scare them at first, now it's just starting to get on his nerves.

So here's one fairly aggravated robot, scowling to himself and stomping through Game Central Station. He's headed for Tapper's, because at least that exists, boy does he need it. He's not gonna be happy if they don't serve E-tanks, though.

There's also a robot wolf trotting at his side. Gospel is alert but much more relaxed than his partner, glancing around at their surroundings and the passing characters with interest.]

[There doesn't seem to be an end to the game's installing today; a new arrival gets out of the station with a grin on her face, rolling a wheelbarrow with her as she begins walking around. She doesn't seem to be having any problems adjusting, but going from a computer to an arcade game has certainly left Orin a bit overly eager--she's practically running around the station, using the wheelbarrow as a crude way of getting people out of her way while she looks around.

Hope you don't mind a cat girl striking you up for conversation--she'll be likely to stop anyone she sees for a good ol' chat, though she hopes you don't mind a certain...smell to her. It's kinda ghastly, but not really obvious unless she's really up close.]

Hey! Don't suppose you can spare a couple'a minutes to chat with a newbie, can ya?

[There's a console that's been plugged in for quite a while, about five down from Pac-Man, still looking as new as it was when it first was plugged in. Well, save for a few nicks here and there.

Actually, the game titled Riders of Berk will be turning one year old in a few weeks, but it's main character has chosen to keep that to himself, for now. Not like anybody would say a whole lot about it, really. At least the gamers find a combination racing/fighting game with dragons a pretty neat deal.

But as long as the game has been plugged in, not many have seen nor spoken to Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III all that much. Maybe that's because he just never visited GCS too much? It's unsure why- perhaps he just felt more comfortable in the console, never having to worry about getting stuck for some reason and not being back in the game before opening.

...Actually that's probably the reason. The viking doesn't have the best luck sometimes.

But today? Today he's finally ventured into the thick of the central hub of the arcade, walking slowly as he looks around at the other characters passing by. He's the hero of his game, so he doesn't have to worry about people running from him since he's 'a bad guy', but that doesn't mean he feels any more included. Actually, he feels like he's sticking out like a sore thumb here. Just this- spindly teenager with barely any meat on his bones, walking with a slow gait, with a soft clicking sound following every other step. That's what you get for having a bit of a tragic backstory- the programmers decide to chop your leg off.

This might not be Hiccup's first time here, but it might as well be.]

[Laughter fills the air as Toothiana flies over Game Central Station. Her feathers catch and reflect the light causing her to sparkle like a gem. Even though her game was only recently plugged in, she had become a common sight to several of the characters that frequented the central hub. Tooth loved the atmosphere of GCS and meeting people from all different games.

The fairy touches down in one of the few more open spaces among the crowd. Her wings give a couple final flaps before collapsing against her back. She starts to walk with the flow of traffic, a smile on her face and violet eyes taking in everything around her with wonder. It doesn't seem like she'll get tired of it all anytime soon.

Ooh drop it to the floor, make me wanna say it
Yeah you can shake some more, make me wanna say it

[Her game was primarily a fighting and action game. As much as she loved it, of course she had looked into different genres of games. It didn't take long for her to stumble across DDR... and she was hooked! The bright colors, the pulsating music, the fun characters... Tooth loved everything about it! Ever since discovering the magic of dancing and rythm games that was where she could be found if she wasn't in her own game.

The fairy was, not surprisingly, light on her feet and an excellent dancer. Even the most complex moves she was able to twist and turn her way around with ease. She also made an excellent dancing partner. Anyone up for a round or two of dancing?

[ Hey there.

Hey hey hey.

You guys might not know this guy yet, you may have seen him poke into your game (it's boring being locked-away promo content, let me tell you, but at least he gets to be the weapon upgrader behind the scenes), but you've got a blond-haired, goggled Laguna... in the middle of Central Station. Because when there's lots of people around, it's the best time to start making weapons for people in his own game, right? (He may or not be breaking the rules by stealing parts from other games. He hasn't checked.) And he's got all sorts of scrap parts around him, a creature - almost like a lion - was looking for people, looking to get their attention. Because today... today, they had a good feeling! A good feeling they could make friends. ]

Aw, come on! I know you're in there, somewhere, you little-

[ Okay, so this can't be that unfamiliar a sight - the Lost & Found at the back of Tapper's probably sees a fair bit of traffic, both animate and in. And some guy from some game rooting around back there, elbows deep in the assorted miscellanea probably shouldn't raise too many (or any) eyebrows.

But Zack's not exactly being quiet about it, either, talking to himself (and to that thing he's looking for) quite clearly as he shuffles ever nearer to the bottom of the box. A giant pretzel gets shoved out of the way, a few gold rings go rattling to the back, and- ]

Aha! [ -he straightens up abruptly where he's crouched down, one fist held triumphantly aloft. Unfortunately, his apparent victory is quickly followed by something that sounds a lot more like Ugh, bluh and Gross! as he tries to shake the sticky blob he mistook, briefly, for his missing materia off the palm of his glove. Eventually, the edge of the doorway he's sitting in has to be employed to achieve the desired effect (though he's still making a face at his hand as he goes to scrub it off on a pantleg. ]

Don't even wanna know what game that came from. [ With a frown, he glances up at his only present company, the massive Buster Sword balanced against the wall beside him (because it's hard to crouch comfortably with that thing on his back, okay). And its one empty slot. ] ...All right. Maybe it's time to think about sourcing this one out.

[ Asking around can't be any less productive than digging's been. Right? ]
