[Grand Central Station is where it's at. That's where he is at. Everything has been put in place though things could have been easier if someone had been around when he needed them. It isn't like he can't do it by himself even though it does increase the likely hood of appearing tacky. He has worked too hard to back out now.

He makes sure to get that licorice tied firmly around his ankle with the idea that it isn't going to break. A glace at some sort of reflective surface tells him that he is certainly ready to go. He gives his leg a tug and he glances back to see that his dinky little wagon moves properly. And he hurries to the wagon to press play on the radio that is apparently in it.

Yeah, he needs to do a better search for Sour Bill next time.

His theme song soon comes on and he is quick of stepping out into the middle of the station. Sugar. The licorice broke. He has to make sure to stand by his wagon, though, to distract the fact the radio is there and he has no lackey. His anxiousness has him bring a hand up to the front of his hair. Still in place. His song is still the truth.]

[Meanwhile, Candelius just so happens to be nearby, and despite the hustle and bustle of Game Central Station he catches the sound of Rancis's catchy theme music. He turns to the boy with a chuckle and bemused smile, not yet noticing that it isn't actually his Rancis - because this is the exact type of thing the one from from his game would do too.]

Heehoo, I thee you're trying to make quite the imprethhion.

[Oh. Oh. Oh!

For a second, there is some needless panic but he catches on quickly. Terrible flashbacks had been there for a second. But he soon nods once and yet. Wait, what. Okay, he really does need his ears checked.]

'Trying?' No, I am making an impression!

[But, yeah, that guy is right. It is only a mere attempt and no one has really noticed. So he huffs and is quick to pout. Mumbling ensues.]

Couldn't find that Sour Bill, anywhere.

[It's all his fault for the failure of this plan, duh.]

[Of course he's humoring the kid. Letting him have his fun and all.]

Ah, well, what do you need him for? You've got thith all on your own, don't you?

No, because I can't pull the wagon on my own and make sure I show off each sides equally!

[He shakes his head.

You wouldn't understand.

[His song happens to go off and this decides that it wants to play next.]

Hehee, no I think I underthand very well~

[When the next song starts playing, for a moment the king seems a little surprised. But soon he chuckles softly once again, with a warm smile.]

Doeth your mother ever sing you that lullaby?

[Because it just so happens to be the one he sings to Vanellope whenever she goes to sleep... and the same one his mom used to sing to him.
He wouldn't be surprised if it was common among the parents of the other young racers as well.]

[What? What? Make it stop! Rancis is quick about turning his back on the other. Short lived plot devices prove to be short, however, and he does get the radio to turn off.]

No, she doesn't.

[He isn't a baby so, yeah!]

[The king continues smiling, giving Rancis a light pat on the head. His voice is gentle and encouraging.]

Perhaps you should ask her to thometime. The best racers always get a good night's thleep, you know.
