Did you really expect an arcade to open up and there to not be a major company's mascot character to show up? Exactly how many games do you think exist in this arcade that's published by SEGA anyway? Wanna join in? It's cool, we got your back. Calling all my All-Stars, let's all get up and jam!

But it seems Sonic's not on the stage dancing by himself. There's another kid up here, dressed in a snazzy suit. Must be a new kid considering he's not a familiar face around here. It's all right though, what with the new game machine that SEGA put out last year, Phantom R was making a splash even outside of his own handheld game]

[OOC: SO I'll be tagging as both Sonic the Hedgehog and Phantom R from Rhythm Thief because SEGA likes it's arcade games. Not sure what game is being shown? It's MaiMai Plus aka that game that looks like a washing machine, which has been recently gotten the plus version with both 3 songs from Rhythm Thief and 3 songs from the Sonic franchise not that Sonic needs more reason to be in the arcade because he's already in All-Stars Racing and Sonic the Fighters among others . Likely, both of them will reply (in the same comment or otherwise noted) or, if you just want to speak with one specifically, let me know in the subject!

[Woah. Rhythm games seem to be populating this place all the way over - Shinta feels the beat, and suddenly, he's up there, with the blue hedgehog and the snazzsuit man.]

[With a nod, Shinta stood back up. Feel the rhythm... it was advice he often got. He should relax and let his motions take over.

And becides, this wasn't a mission. He could take this all relaxed-like!

So then, Shinta looked at the two, and back to the front. It was time... to dance!

Now that he was more relaxed, though, the dance was going a lot better.]

[Phantom R's taking point for this dance, hitting the notes first with Sonic serving as a buffer between the first beat and the third beat where it's Shinta's turn.

That Phantom R was leading the dance so well wasn't surprising (his game was always rhythm based). But Sonic's skills were! ... A bit. Wasn't he supposed to be from a platforming game?]

That's the way! [a quick thumbs up] You've done this before, haven't ya?

[Shinta gives a nod, keeping his eyes forward. He actually doesn't know Sonic that well - he may have heard of him from when Sayonji was chatting a bit about Super Smash Bros. Brawl, but... well, yeah.]
I'm an Ouendan - a cheerleader. It's my job to follow the beat and encourage people!
[It's a cult classic, okay? He's trying not to get distracted, he's a lot more enthusiactic talking about his job when he's not on it. He doesn't want to get embarrased or mocked by his peers!]

Can't say I've ever heard of it. [and Phantom R hasn't, even though his attire looks like it could fit in just fine with the Elite Beat Agents. Sonic, on the other hand, just laughs]

Guess I shouldn't be too surprised. S'been a while since I've seen one of you guys hanging around though!

[thankfully, the steps are simple and there's no ridiculous acrobatics even though the two like to show off when the opportunity presents itself so Shinta should be able to follow through right to the end of the track. (Just remember that everything is better with spinning!)]
